Cleanings
Regular cleanings are an essential part of your overall dental health
Preventative care is key
Teeth cleanings are a vital part of your oral hygiene and involves the removal of dental plaque from teeth with the intention of preventing cavities, gingivitis, and periodontal disease.
Even with good oral hygiene, plaque can accumulate and mineralize forming hard deposits on the teeth that are called calculus. These deposits can form on all tooth surfaces and need to be cleaned by specially designed instruments at our dental office. Removal of these plaques, at least every six months, helps decrease the inflammation response by your tissues and is essential to your overall dental health.
