Bicon Dental Implants

The Restoration of compromised or missing teeth with Bicon dental implants can often be less costly, more reliable and require fewer visits than restoring teeth with root canal treatments or fixed dental prosthetics. Unlike teeth, Bicon dental implants cannot decay.

What it is

If you are missing teeth and wish to eat your favorite foods, increase your chewing ability and improve your appearance and speech, then you are a candidate for dental implants. A dental implant is a replacement for the root of a tooth that has been lost. Your doctor has chosen the Bicon Dental Implant System because of its scientifically proven design. The Bicon design affords the use of short implants, which often negates the need for costly bone grafting procedures. Since 1985, the Bicon System has used a locking taper to secure a prosthetic abutment to the implant instead of a screw, since screws often loosen and break. Additionally, because of the bacterial seal, the odors and tastes associated with screws are avoided with Bicon. The Procedure

The Bicon Dental Implant is machined surgical grade titanium, which is placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Its placement is usually performed in less than an hour as an office procedure with only local anesthesia. After a period of 2-6 months of healing, a final abutment post is tapped into the implant. A crown or removable denture is secured to the abutment as the final restoration. For the ultimate in aesthetics, the cementless and screwless Bicon Integrated Abutment Crown™ can also be used.
